25 dicas para publicação de artigos em revistas científicas internacionais

Abstract

A publicação de estudos de natureza científica rege-se por padrões de excelência e pressupõe a capacidade de oferecer uma contribuição original que venha a acrescentar algo à literatura existente num determinado ramo do saber. Para além do valor intrínseco do estudo, a submissão de um trabalho de investigação deverá envolver alguns cuidados de apresentação e de forma que poderão condicionar o modo como editores e avaliadores o percepcionam. Com base na experiência acumulada a este nível, oferece-se um conjunto de 25 dicas que se espera possam vir a ser úteis para actuais e futuros investigadores.

To publish studies of a scientific nature one has to obey to standards of excellence and reveal the capacity to offer an original contribution that might add something to the existing literature in a particular field of knowledge. Beyond the intrinsic value of the study, the submission of a research work must take into consideration some issues of presentation and form that may influence the way editors and referees look at it. Based on the accumulated experience at this level, we offer a list of 25 hints that we hope may be helpful to current and future researchers.
