As TIC como motivação para a leitura : um mundo para lá do impresso

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar as capacidades tecnológicas como ferramentas comunicativas a nível da leitura, escrita e os “novos géneros literários” e contexto de literatura digital. Passa também por apresentar algumas referências que podem ser um contributo para a evolução da leitura. Tem ainda a finalidade de abordar a temática relacionada com as Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TIC), suportes informáticos, os formatos e a sua interação com a sociedade/comunidade que foi escolhida para este trabalho, com o propósito de saber qual a sua relação e interligação com as TIC, na sua utilização, práticas e conhecimento. Nesse sentido foram colocadas 3 questões principais, nomeadamente: 1ª-“O ebook irá sobrepor-se ao livro impresso?”, 2ª“As TIC serão um incentivo para a leitura?” e 3ª “Como são as novas formas de leitura e escrita na sociedade atual?”. Metodologicamente recorreu-se à elaboração de um questionário direto e pessoal que foi distribuído em Instituições de uma localidade situada na zona Centro e Interior de Portugal, abrangendo várias faixas etárias. Foram também selecionados alguns testemunhos na Internet, pelo youtube. Analisando as questões de investigação, entende-se que o ebook não se irá sobrepor ao livro impresso; as TIC são um incentivo para a leitura e; por fim, na utilização das novas formas de leitura é preponderante a utilização do computador e o portátil. Assim, concluiu-se também que as TIC são importantes para quem não mora nem se situa perto das áreas metropolitanas, que o ebook terá lugar e posição futura ao lado do livro, mas que o livro impresso não irá desaparecer, que as TIC são um incentivo para a leitura foi a resposta maioritária dos inquiridos.

The objective of this study is to analyze the technological capabilities as communication tools at the level of reading, writing and "new genres" in the so-called digital literature. It also presents some references that can be a contribution to the evolution of reading. It also has the purpose of addressing the issue related to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), computer media, formats and its interaction with society / community that was chosen for this work, in order to know what your relationship and interconnection with ICT in its use, practices and knowledge. In this sense, 3 questions were raised, namely: first:"Will the ebook overwrite the printed book?", second:"Will ICT be an incentive for reading?" And third:"How are new ways of reading and writing in today's society?". Methodologically, a direct and personal questionnaire was developed that was distributed in Institutions of a locality located in the Center and Interior of Portugal, covering several age groups. Some testimonies were also selected on the Internet, through youtube. Analyzing the research questions, it is understood that if the ebook will not replace the printed book; ICT is an incentive for reading and; Finally, in the use of new forms of reading, the use of the computer and the laptop is preponderant. So it was concluded also that ICT is important for those who do not live or is located near metropolitan areas, the ebook will take place and future position next to the book, but that the printed book will not disappear, that ICT is one Encouraging the reading was the majority response of the respondents.
