Comunicação de enfermeiro/utente num serviço de urgência

Abstract

Resumo - Contrapondo a uma visão mecanicista da enfermagem, cuidando o indivíduo a partir de uma abordagem biológica, sem olhar ás dimensões psicológica, histórica e cultural, existe hoje em dia uma outra visão mais humanista, em que o utente deve ser visto no eu todo. Nesta abordagem assume particular destaque o tipo de comunicação que se stabelece entre o enfermeiro e o utente. ste estudo teve como objectivo estudar a comunicação de enfermeiro / utente, em ontexto de serviço de urgência, (Balcão Hospital Nossa Senhora do Rosário E. P. E.), om a finalidade de saber em que medida a interacção com o utente interfere no rocesso de cuidar, assim como, se interfere na qualidade de cuidados e satisfação dos tentes. Para tal, fez-se um estudo exploratório descritivo. tilizaram-se duas amostras, cada uma com trinta sujeitos e a interacção de cinco nfermeiros em contexto de trabalho. Na recolha de dados foram utilizados o uestionário e a observação participante. A análise dos dados para o questionário foi feita através de tratamento estatístico. No caso da resposta aberta e da observação das interacções recorreu-se à análise do conteúdo, utilizando a metodologia da Ground Theory. As conclusões evidenciam uma orientação do cuidado de enfermagem para a pessoa, tendo sido identificadas duas dimensões, a concepção do cuidado de enfermagem e a comunicação, que se interligam, parecendo haver nos sujeitos do estudo uma orientação de predominância para o paradigma da transformação. A informação é todavia apenas um elemento da comunicação que deverá estar ajustada às características psicológicas do utente

Abstract - Opposing to a mechanistic view of nursing, which cares for the individual from a biological approach, without regarding the psychological, historical and cultural dimensions, there is nowadays one more humanistic vision, in which the patient must be seen as a whole. In this approach is especially highlighted the type of communication established between the nurse and the patient. This study was to investigate the communication nurse / patient, in the context of the emergency room, (Balcão Hospitalar Nossa Senhora do Rosário E.P.E.), in order to learn to what extent the interaction with the patient interferes in the process of caring, so as if interferes with the quality of care and customer satisfaction. To this end, it was made a descriptive exploratory study. Two samples were used, each with thirty subjects and the interaction of five nurses in the employment context. In collecting data were used the survey and participant observation. Data analysis for the questionnaire was done by statistical treatment. In the case of open response and the observation of the interactions it appealed to the analysis of the content, using the methodology of Ground Theory. The findings show an orientation of the nursing care for the person, and were identified two dimensions, the design of the nursing care and communication, which interconnect there seem to exist in the subjects of the study the dominance for the paradigm of transformation. The information is, however, only one element of communication that should be tailored to the psychological characteristics of the patient
