Abstract

Plato’s philosophy and the Aristotle’s poetics have settled the postulates for a theoretical thought on the production process and the reading of fiction. The specialization of the knowledge areas into disciplines has provided multiple readings for the literary. A tension among literary and social theories goes through the horizon of reading from the literary and immediate reality, and today presents itself as literature production and reading guiding possibilities.

A filosofia platônica e a poética aristotélica assentaram os postulados para um pensamento teórico acerca do processo de produção e de leitura da ficção. A especialização das áreas do conhecimento em disciplinas proporcionou múltiplas leituras para o literário. Uma tensão entre teorias literárias e sociais atravessa o horizonte de leitura das realidades literária e imediata e hoje apresenta-se como possibilidade norteadora da produção e da leitura da literatura.
