O dever moral e o valor das ações humanas segundo Kant

Abstract

The study aims at approaching the duty concept (Sollen) within Kant´s moral philosophy. Taking into account the notion of moral duty as one of the central concepts in (and to) Kant's practical thought, and in an attempt to offer an elucidation of Kant’s quest (and development) by the supreme principle of moral – the fundaments of the moral value´s detaining action, we will investigate: i) what characterizes one action for duty, in Kant’s moral thought and, ii) why exactly, according to Kant, just the action, precisely for duty, is the only action with the genuine value, namely, the moral value.

Pretendemos, no presente artigo, abordar o conceito de dever (Sollen) no interior da filosofia moral de Kant. Por considerarmos a noção do dever moral enquanto um dos conceitos centrais no (e ao) pensamento prático kantiano e com o intuito de tentar oferecer uma elucidação da busca (e desenvolvimento) de Kant pelo princípio supremo da moral – os fundamentos da ação detentora de valor moral, buscaremos expor: i) o que caracteriza uma ação por dever no pensamento moral kantiano e, ii) porque exatamente, segundo Kant, apenas a ação precisamente por dever é a única ação com o genuíno valor, a saber, o valor moral.
