Abstract

Trata-se da análise crítica da importância e dinâmica do movimento de luta pela moradia em Uberaba-MG. Parte da recuperação histórica do surgimento da ação planejada por indivíduos que reconheceram a sua condição de exclusão social e territorial, adotaram a prática de organização popular para dar visibilidade a suacondição miserável de vida e reivindicar o protagonismo do governo local, responsabilizado como determinante no impedimento do encaminhamento da questao habitacional do município. A orientação teórico-metodológica adotada garante o desvelamento dos meandros culturais e políticos que alimentam a estratégia dos moradores e os rebatimentos oposicionistas. O conceito de contradição é fundante para a compreensão da ação dos homens, que na sua materialidade se orienta pelos objetivos específicos que sâo coletivamente definidos e perseguidos na ação política implementada e defendida como alternativa,não de acesso a direitos sociais, mas também alternativa de inclusão no processo decisório de definição, implantação e implementação de políticas sociais.
