A aplicação de tópicos de História da Química no processo de ensino e aprendizagem: dificuldades dos alunos

Abstract

This research project aims to determine the main way that the inclusion of topics of history and philosophy of science education activities aimed at high school, influence the process of teaching and learning of chemistry. The subject of research will be a teacher, undergraduate student in chemistry and public school students that the teaching units developed will be applied. The literature presents a large of research indicating the need to include these topics in education and present the results of large withdrawals of original sources of the development of scientific knowledge. Despite of the large number of these works are not very common reports of application of the results of these studies on activities of the classroom, which reinforces the importance of this study

O presente trabalho teve como objetivos principais verificar de que maneira a inclusão de tópicos de história e filosofia da ciência em atividades de ensino voltadas para o Ensino Médio, exercem influência no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da Química. O sujeito de pesquisa foi um professor, aluno da licenciatura em química e alunos da rede pública onde as unidades didáticas elaboradas serão aplicadas. A literatura apresenta inúmeros trabalhos de pesquisa que indicam a necessidade de inclusão destes tópicos no processo de ensino e apresentam resultados de levantamentos importantes de fontes originais do desenvolvimento do conhecimento científico. Apesar do grande número destes trabalhos, não são muito comuns relatos da aplicação dos resultados destes estudos em atividades de sala de aula, o que reforça a importância deste estudo
