Emoção e afetividade na aprendizagem: breve revisão bibliográfica

Abstract

This work has as its theme the role of emotions and affectivity in learning, particularly in science learning, being developed from a literature review. We start from the idea that learning occurs through changes in the neural networks of each individual and that these changes are caused by a combination of genetic and biological factors also influenced by emotions and affectivity. We seek information on the functioning of the human brain, highlighting the neuroanatomy and neurocognition, to understand how the brain processes information, including the feelings and emotions experienced by the individual. Once we try to understand which roles are assigned to the feelings and emotions in different learning theories, emphasizing the cognitive and humanistic theories. Finally, we found some more recent contributions to the understanding of the learning process, to the field of neuroscience. We were led to conclude that there is great scope for research in applied neuroscience to education, since the work, especially in the national literature are still scarce

Este trabalho possui como temática o papel das emoções e da afetividade na aprendizagem, particularmente, na aprendizagem das ciências, desenvolvido a partir de levantamento bibliográfico. Partimos da ideia de que a aprendizagem ocorre por meio de mudanças nas redes neurais de cada indivíduo e que tais mudanças são provocadas por uma combinação de fatores genéticos e biológicos, influenciadas também pelas emoções e pela afetividade. Buscamos elementos sobre o funcionamento do cérebro humano, destacando a neuroanatomia e neurocognição, para entender como o cérebro processa as informações, incluindo os sentimentos e as emoções, vivenciadas pelo indivíduo. Depois buscamos compreender quais papéis são atribuídos aos sentimentos e emoções em diferentes teorias de aprendizagem, destacando as teorias cognitivistas e humanistas. Por fim, encontramos algumas contribuições mais recentes para o entendimento do processo de aprendizagem, produzidas no campo da neurociência. Fomos levados a concluir que existe um grande espaço para pesquisa na área da neurociência aplicada à educação, visto que os trabalhos, principalmente na literatura nacional, são ainda escassos
