Liderança no futebol: uma relação entre técnico e atleta

Abstract

The sports psychology today is increasingly inserted in the day-to-day of sports teams, and it happens because the technical, tactical and physical levels are too equal. Through sports psychology we try to understand the behavior of each athlete and the group itself to achieve a better performance in training and competition. Thus, within the sports psychology we have the leadership phenomenon that has been constantly studied in order to understand the relationship between coach and athlete in the sports context. The objective of this study is to verify in the literature issues related to leadership in sports groups, as well as analyze how leadership is treated by coaches and seen by the athletes and also see how the leadership is specifically manifested in the football environment. As a methodological procedure was performed an analytical research in which a bibliographic review was developed. We conclude that in sports in general, there is a preference by part of the athletes for coaches with a training-education behavior, in what he cares about the development of the technical and tactical aspects of your team or athlete. And in the context of football that the most dominant style of leadership behavior of coaches is the autocratic and by the athletes, they considered most important the education-training dimension as ideal behavior of their coaches leadership

A psicologia do esporte hoje está cada vez mais inserida no dia-a-dia de equipes esportivas, isso porque os níveis técnico, tático e físico estão muito igualados. Através da psicologia do esporte se tenta entender o comportamento de cada atleta e do grupo em si para se conquistar um melhor desempenho em treinos e competições. Diante disso, dentro da psicologia do esporte temos o fenômeno liderança que vem sendo constantemente estudado para poder entender a relação entre o técnico e o atleta dentro do contexto esportivo. Assim, o objetivo desse trabalho é verificar na literatura questões relativas a lideranças em grupos esportivos, além de analisar como a liderança é tratada pelos treinadores e vistas pelos atletas e também verificar como a liderança se manifesta especificamente no ambiente do futebol. Como procedimento metodológico foi realizado uma pesquisa analítica no qual foi desenvolvida uma revisão bibliográfica. Conclui-se que nos esportes em geral, há uma preferência por parte dos atletas em treinadores com um comportamento de treino-instrução, onde ele se preocupa em desenvolver os aspectos técnico-tático de sua equipe ou atleta. E no contexto do futebol que o estilo mais predominante de comportamento de liderança dos treinadores é o autocrático e por parte dos atletas, eles consideraram como mais importante a dimensão de treino instrução como comportamento ideal de liderança de seus treinadores
