Educação ambiental na educação infantil: brincadeiras com a turma do Sapinho amigo

Abstract

In order to build new forms of society relate to the environment, and so to solve the environmental situation of crisis that came settling with the passage of time, environmental education has been placed by different social groups, political, scientific and civil organization, as one of the possible tools to face the so-called environmental problems. However, to make it more effective, the practice of environmental education must be present throughout the formal education and therefore must begin in kindergarten. In this way, this study aims to analyze the importance of the practice of environmental education in this educational stage, discussing the role of playfulness, of games as learning tools and development in the education of preschool children and can be appropriated by teachers in their practices with the goal of environmental education. The research was theoretical Environmental Education Critical and methodological way as qualitative research, with data collection through participant observation, interviews and document analysis. In all, eight activities were carried out with the gang of Maternal II - class of Thrush Friend - the Municipal School Benjamin Ferreira in Rio Claro, and in all activities to environmental issues and the playful attended. To finish the research we concluded that the activities and the play proposed, at different times and levels of intensity, have sparked interest and participation, promoted the curiosity of children participating in the survey, indicating that, in fact, the play enhances the environmental education work with children from kindergarten

Com o objetivo de construir novas formas de a sociedade se relacionar com o meio ambiente, ou seja, para solucionar o quadro de crise ambiental que veio se instalando com o passar dos tempos, a educação ambiental tem sido colocada, por diferentes segmentos sociais, políticos, científicos e da organização civil, como umas das ferramentas possíveis para o enfrentamento dos chamados problemas ambientais. Porém, para que seja mais efetiva, a prática de educação ambiental deve estar presente durante todo o ensino formal e, portanto, ter início na Educação Infantil. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho pretende analisar a importância da prática da educação ambiental nesta etapa de ensino, discutindo o papel da ludicidade, das brincadeiras como ferramentas de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento na educação das crianças préescolares, podendo ser apropriadas pelos professores em suas práticas, com o objetivo da educação ambiental. A pesquisa teve como referencial teórico a Educação Ambiental Crítica e como caminho metodológico a pesquisa qualitativa, sendo que a coleta de dados deu-se por meio da observação participante, entrevista e análise documental. Ao todo, foram realizadas oito atividades com a turma de Maternal II - turma do Sapinho Amigo - da Escola Municipal Benjamim Ferreira, em Rio Claro, sendo que em todas as atividades a temática ambiental e o lúdico estiveram presentes. Ao finalizarmos a pesquisa concluímos que as atividades e brincadeiras propostas, em diferentes momentos e graus de intensidade, desencadearam interesse e participação, promoveram a curiosidade das crianças participantes da pesquisa, indicando que, de fato, o brincar potencializa o trabalho de educação ambiental com crianças da Educação Infantil
