Relato de experiência da aplicação do processo de enfermagem baseado na teoria de orem a pacientes ostomizados intestinais

Abstract

Objectives: Apply the Orem’s Self Care Theory in ostomy patient care and reflect on the importance of the student's performance in the process of specialized learning in the graduation. Methods: Descriptive study of the activities carried out by graduate students in nursing to ostomy people, which form the core of Customer Service Ostomized Patients (NO) through an extension project developed in a University Hospital in the city of Botucatu. This service is performed by the nursing consultation, being recorded in the electronic patient record (EPR) of the institution. As it is a report of an experience developed by nursing students it was not necessary to apply to the Institutional Ethical Review Board. Results: The interaction between fellows and volunteers from various levels of the Undergraduate Course in Nursing enabled the development of the students, allowing awakening to the assistance performed in amplified form. The bio-psycho socio-spiritual and legal dimensions were addressed in the form of assessment and interventions propositions. The reference to self care was used and permeated the dialogs relationship proposed. Conclusion: We concluded that the nursing students, fellows and volunteers of the Extension Project developed in the NAO were able to accomplish praxis, that means, contaminated by theory practice.

Objetivos: Aplicar a Teoria do Autocuidado de Orem na assistência a paciente portadora de estomia. e refletir sobre a importância da atuação do discente no processo de aprendizagem especializada na graduação. Método: Estudo descritivo das atividades realizadas pelos acadêmicos de graduação em enfermagem às pessoas ostomizadas, que integram o Núcleo de Atendimento ao Ostomizado (NAO) por meio do Projeto de extensão desenvolvido em um Hospital Universitário no município do Botucatu. Esse atendimento é feito pela consulta de enfermagem, sendo registrada no prontuário eletrônico do paciente (PEP) da instituição. Por se tratar de um relato de experiência desenvolvido pelos acadêmicos de enfermagem não necessitou passar pelo CEP. Resultados: A interação entre os bolsistas e voluntários dos diversos níveis do Curso de Graduação em Enfermagem possibilitou o amadurecimento dos graduandos, permitindo despertar para a assistência realizada de maneira ampliada. As dimensões biopsicossocioespirituais e legais foram contempladas na forma de avaliação e proposição de intervenções. O referencial para o autocuidado foi utilizado e permeou a relação dialógica proposta. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que os graduandos de enfermagem, bolsistas e voluntários do Projeto de Extensão desenvolvido no NAO tiveram a possibilidade de realizar práxis, ou seja, a prática eivada de teoria.
