Diagoguê e suas implicações na educação do cidadão em Aristóteles

Abstract

A presente pesquisa está vinculada à Linha de Pesquisa: Práticas e Processos Formativos em Educação. Estabeleceu por objetivo geral, conhecer, segundo a interpretação de Aristóteles, o papel dos divertimentos agradáveis (diagoguê) na vida humana e suas implicações pedagógicas na formação do cidadão. Fundamentou-se, por um lado, nas próprias obras do referido filósofo, e, por outro, em comentários de intérpretes a respeito de seus escritos. Traz uma reflexão acerca da natureza e da condição humana, entendendo os divertimentos como uma dimensão inerente à existência do homem. Por essa razão, foram abordados, inicialmente, assuntos mais gerais, para somente depois chegarmos aos temas específicos, esses sim objetos centrais da presente dissertação. The present study is related to the Line of Research: Formative Assessment in Education. It has established as its general objectives to know, according to Aristotle’s interpretation, the role of entertainment in human life and its pedagogical implications in the citizen’s formation. It has been based, at one angle, in the philosopher’s own work and, at another angle, in remarks made by interpreters concerning his writings. It brings a reflection on human condition and nature, comprehending entertainment as an inherent dimension to the existence of men. For this reason, general subjects were primarily approached, later followed by specific issues, central objects of the dissertation. In fact, this was the method commonly used by Aristotle in his various investigations, which has obliged us, somehow, to follow the same methodology.
