Um estudo sobre sequências e séries

Abstract

Neste trabalho, apresentamos a teoria de sequências e séries numéricas. Uma introdu ção ao estudo de sequências e séries de funções reais também é apresentada, a m de explorar as séries de potências e as séries de Taylor. Usando a teoria desenvolvida, abordamos temas presentes no Currículo de Matemática da Educação Básica. Além disso, algumas sugestões de propostas didáticas são dadas aos professores de Matemática que lecionam no Ensino Médio

In this work, we present the theory of numerical sequences and series. An introduction to the study of sequences and series of real functions is also presented in order to explore the power series and Taylor series. By using the theory developed, we approach topics present in the Mathematics Curriculum of Basic Education. Furthermore, some suggestions of didactic proposals are given to mathematics teachers who teach in High School
