Análise dos livros de atletismo como subsídio para o seu ensino no campo escolar

Abstract

O atletismo é um esporte pouco difundido na sociedade em geral, sendo pequeno o número de professores da rede escolar que trabalham com ele, além da escassez de material bibliográfico e pesquisas voltadas à área pedagógica. O objetivo do presente estudo foi identificar qual a perspectiva de ensino presente nos livros de atletismo investigando o que ensinam, como ensinam, quem é o responsável pelo ensino, quem é o sujeito do ensino e qual o local e materiais utilizados para o desenvolvimento das atividades propostas. Com base no levantamento do acervo das Universidades Públicas de São Paulo: USP, UNESP, UNICAMP e UFSCar, buscamos coletar todos os livros nacionais, portugueses e traduzidos para o português, específicos do atletismo. O referencial teórico e metodológico adotado no presente estudo foi a Análise de Conteúdo, sendo que com o auxílio do sistema de categorias foi possível categorizar o material bibliográfico em quatro blocos de conteúdo: “Aspectos Regulamentares e Históricos”, “Aspectos do Treinamento”, “Aspectos Didáticos” e “Aspectos da Saúde”. Posteriormente, foi realizada a análise detalhada do conteúdo dos livros classificados no bloco de categoria dos “Aspectos Didáticos”, subdivididos em “Técnicos” e “Pedagógicos”. Com base nas citações dos livros e com o auxílio do sistema de categorias destacamos e agrupamos os elementos em seis categorias: “Local de ensino”, “Orientador do ensino”, “Sujeito do ensino”, “Materiais utilizados”, “Formas de ensino” e “O que ensinam”. Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam diferentes perspectivas, objetivos e formas de ensino presentes nos livros de atletismo classificados como “Técnicos” e dos livros classificados como “Pedagógicos” e apontam diferentes possibilidades de trabalho com o atletismo no campo escolar. Além disso, evidenciam a necessidade de novas publicações na área.

Athletics is in general a little spread sport in the society, being small the number of teachers that work with it in net school, besides the lack of bibliographical material and researches faced to pedagogic area. The aim of this work was identify what the teaching perspective that appers in the athletics books looking into what they teach, how they teach, who is the responsible for the teaching, who is the subject of the teaching and what place and what kind of materials were use to develop the proposed activities. Based on the researches of the Public Universities of São Paulo: USP, UNESP, UNICAMP and UFSCar, we tried to join all national books, portuguese and translated into portuguese, specifieally the books of atlhetics. The theoretical and methodological referencial commented on this work was the Analysis of the Content, and with the categories system help it was possible to classify the bibliographical material in four content: Rules and Historical Aspects, Training Aspects, Didactic Aspects and Health Aspects. Later, a detailed analysis of the classified books content was done in the group of the categories of the Didactic Aspects, subdivided in Technicians and Pedagogic. Based on the books citations and with the aid of the categories system help we highlighted and joined the elements in six categories: “Teaching place”, Teaching guide, Teaching person, Used materials, Ways of teaching” and “What they teach. The results of the research show different perspectives, aims and ways of teaching that apper in the books of athletics classified as Technicians and the books classified as Pedagogic show in different ways of work for the athletics in school field. Besides they evidence the need of new publications in the area.
