O serviço social no Escritório Escola Jurídico-Social: possibilidades e limites na atenção às famílias

Abstract

Nesta dissertação de mestrado buscamos compreender a atuação do Serviço Social acerca das possibilidades e limites no atendimento às famílias, no campo sócio-jurídico, ressaltando a importância da reflexão sobre a ação profissional e o debate contemporâneo da profissão. Constatou-se, pelos dados levantados com a pesquisa, que a família é a maior demanda atendida no universo pesquisado, o Escritório Escola Jurídico Social e que precisamos avançar no tema família. Procuramos estudar o trabalho do assistente social junto a essas famílias, investigando as dificuldades enfrentadas pelo profissional de Serviço Social no cotidiano de trabalho e possibilidades de atendimento no que diz respeito aos conflitos envolvidos no contexto familiar inserido na realidade social. Neste estudo procuramos compreender as diversas funções do assistente social, a relação do direito com o serviço neste espaço e o trabalho junto às famílias para alcançar a superação da prática isolada e para proporcionar resultados mais eficazes em relação à efetivação dos direitos a essas famílias. Falar em trabalho profissional traz a exigência de explicitar a concepção sócio histórica da profissão na qual o Serviço Social é considerado como especialização do trabalho coletivo, e sua prática como concretização de um processo de trabalho que tem como objetivo o enfrentamento das inúmeras expressões da questão social. Para o desenvolvimento deste estudo fundamentou-se em pesquisas de natureza bibliográfica e de campo, de abordagem qualitativa. Para compreensão da realidade investigada, utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo. On this master dissertation we´re trying to understand the service performance about the possibilities and limits to help families in the social legal área emphasing the importance of the professional action and contemporary discussion over it. It was found through the datas raised with the search, that the family is the most helped one. The legal social school and that we need tho advance in the family issue. We try to stady the difficults found every day by the social assistent next to these families and the possibilities to help soluing conflicts involved in the familiar content inside the social reality. On this study we try to understand severals functions so social assistent job, the context f haw in relation to the social service and the job close to families to achieve the overcoming isolated action, to provide more effective results in relation to these families right. To talk about professional job, it needs the explicit requirement of the social historic conception about the profession, in which the social service is considered a collective job and it’s practice as substation of the process that has an objective, the confront of numerous expressions of social questions. The develop of this study was based on bibliographic nature research and the field, with qualitative approaching. To understand the reality investigated, it was used the content analysis. It was conducted interviews with the search subjects, with the objective to deep the social profession assistent and, based on real teoric methodology; we try to explain the professional performance the social legal field
