Competências transversais e orientações curriculares na educação infantil : um estudo de caso entre Portugal e Alemanha

Abstract

A presente dissertação centra-se no desenvolvimento das competências cognitivas, sócio emocionais e pessoais no pré-escolar, partindo de um conjunto de orientações específicas determinadas por dois sistemas educacionais distintos, um português e outro alemão. A investigação foi realizada no ano letivo de 2014/2015, com o objetivo de analisar o desenvolvimento de competências em dois estabelecimentos de educação pré-escolar: um jardim infantil que promove a pedagogia Waldorf em Portugal, e uma das instituições do ICP (Centro para a inclusão, integração e promoção multicultural), o Kinderhaus em Westpark - Integrative Kinderförderung GmbH na Alemanha. Esta comparação analisa por um lado as diretrizes curriculares de ambos os contextos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem a partir do nível pré-escolar no que concerne o desenvolvimento de habilidades cognitivas; e por outro, o impacto das emoções sobre a aprendizagem das crianças. O desenho metodológico da pesquisa foi o estudo de caso comparativo em duas instituições. Os resultados demonstram que existe diferenciação de currículos no contexto europeu e que a regulação das emoções constitui um factor pertinente para que outras competências possam ser desenvolvidas.

This research focuses on the verification of the degree of development of cognitive, socio-emotional and personal basic skills in preschool, which allow the child to perform certain tasks requested by two diverse educational systems (the Portuguese and the German), with specific guidelines. The research took place in the academic year 2014/2015, and intended to analyze the formation of skills and its development in two early childhood education institutions: the Kindergarten St. George in Portugal, which follows the Waldorf pedagogy, and one of ICP's institutions (Centre for multicultural inclusion, integration and promotion) home Kinderhaus am Westpark - Integrative Kinderförderung GmbH in Germany. This comparison aims firstly to analyze the curriculum guidelines of both contexts particularly regarding the teaching and learning processes at the pre-school level in the development of cognitive, social, personal skills; and secondly the impact of emotions on the learning processes of children. The methodological design of the research was the comparative case study in two institutions. The results show that there is differentiation of curricula on the European stage and that the regulation of emotions is a relevant factor for other competencies can be developed.
