A mística do MST: mediação da práxis formadora de sujeitos históricos

Abstract

Este estudo parte do desafio de compreender as potencialidades do MST em forjar uma consciência de classe em suas esferas. O relevo é dado à mística, recurso utilizado pelo movimento para divulgar suas ideias, princípios e objetivos. Algumas das performances, cenários, ritos, danças e músicas, colocam a mística no papel de uma manifestação estética realista, capaz de proporcionar ao trabalhador sem-terra uma compreensão mais ampla de si e do mundo que o circunda. Traçamos quais os fatores que potencializam ou fragilizam a mística nesse aspecto crítico que lhe é inerente desde sua criação, ainda no seio das pastorais sociais da Igreja Católica. O potencial dessa ferramenta consiste em municiar os sujeitos históricos dos desafios, adversários e possibilidades ontológicas dos combates do presente e também do devir da classe trabalhadora. Contudo, as noções de alienação e ideologia, bem como o debate sobre a práxis e a questão da consciência necessária, nos permitem desenhar uma perspectiva radical dos obstáculos que a mística enfrenta e por vezes sucumbe - parte da composição da subjetividade dos trabalhadores em tempos de crise estrutural do capital

This research seeks to understand the potential of MST to forge an class consciousness in their spheres.
