A construção da carreira docente e a identidade do professor

Abstract

This work intends to realize a historical overview of the construction of the teaching career and discuss the identity of the teacher active in the current school setting. As a theoretical framework we based our search on the texts that are a reflection on the formation and organization of the teacher's work in the context of the capitalist system. Initially performed for the Scholarship Institutional Project of Scientific Initiation (known as PIBIC), the objective of this study is to investigate the structure of the teaching career since the nineteenth century to the present day, observing the development of the school and education and highlighting the role assigned to the teacher in that period of time, analyzing them from the perspective of society and the state. The theme emerged on the need to (re) learn about the teacher as a professional and your identity, to better understand the current school environment and the teaching practice. For this purpose, in addition to theoretical research on the topic we will analyze documents found in the Public Archive of the State of São Paulo and will perform an appreciation of the national literature of the time, characterizing the methodology of this study as bibliographic and documentary

O presente trabalho tem como foco a realização de uma síntese histórica sobre a construção da carreira docente e a discussão da identidade do professor atuante no cenário escolar atual. Como referencial teórico pretende-se ter como base os textos que fazem uma reflexão sobre a formação e a organização do trabalho do professor no contexto do sistema capitalista. Inicialmente realizado para o Projeto Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC), o objetivo deste estudo é investigar a estruturação da carreira docente desde o século XIX até os dias de hoje, observando o desenrolar da escola e da educação e destacando o papel atribuído ao professor nesse período de tempo, analisando-os sob a ótica da sociedade e do estado. A temática surgiu na necessidade de (re)conhecer o profissional-professor atuante e sua identidade, para melhor compreender o ambiente escolar atual e seus desdobramentos. Para tanto, além de uma investigação teórica sobre o tema analisaremos documentos encontrados no Arquivo Público do Estado de São Paulo e realizaremos uma apreciação da literatura nacional da época, caracterizando a metodologia deste estudo como bibliográfica e documental
