Limites e contradições da cidadania na sociedade capitalista

Abstract

O artigo defende o argumento de que a lógica objetiva das relações sociais capitalistas opõe-se ao desenvolvimento da moral e da cidadania. Também argumenta que a cidadania é uma representação idealizada que não tem força para superar a alienação das relações sociais, que têm o dinheiro como mediação universal em nossa sociedade. Por fim, o artigo analisa criticamente a proposta curricular do Estado de São Paulo para o ensino de filosofia no Ensino Médio, a qual tem como referência a pedagogia das competências.

This paper expresses the argument that the capitalist social relationships are oppositional to the development of morality and citizenship. It also brings the argument that citizenship is an idealized representation with no power to overcome the alienation of social relationships that are universally mediated by money in our society. Finally, the paper critically analyzes the fact that the pedagogy of competences is the main theoretical reference of the philosophy teaching curriculum in the São Paulo state high school system.
