With the objective to establish an efficient method of acclimatization of A. vera, the effect of the Indol-butíric acid (IBA) had been evaluated (T1=zero; T2=1.0 μmol L -1; T3=2.0 μmol L -1; T4=4.0 μmol L -1; T5=8.0 μmol L -1 and T2=10.0 μmol L -1) on in vitro rooting. For acclimatization the following substrates were tested: Ta=Carbonized rind of rice; Tb=Sand; Tc=Plantmax®; Td=Carbonized rind of rice + Sand in 1:1; Te=Carbonized rind of rice + Plantmax® in 1:1; e Tf=Sand + Plantmax® in 1:1 for the growth and development of the plantlets in greenhouse. One concluded that sprouts of A. vera, with average size of 1.5 cm must be taken in vitro rooting, during 30 days, in MS media culture supplemented with 1.0 μmol L -1 of IBA, sucrose (30 g L -1) and Agar (7 g L -1), pH adjusted for 5.8, kept in chamber of growth to a temperature of 25 ±2°C, with photoperiod of 16 hours light (50 μmol m -2 s -1 of intensity) and 8 hours dark. After that they must be acclimatized in substratum Plantmax®, during 60 days, in greenhouse (25 ±2°C, 80% of UR and 40% of reduction of the solar radiation). Of this, 95% of the A. vera plants will be ready to be transplanted in definitive for the production field, differentiated in that it says respect the genetic and phytosanitary quality.en
