Aproximações entre literatura infantil e ensino de ciências: um estudo de práticas pedagógicas de professoras dos anos inicais do ensino fundamental

Abstract

O presente estudo, vinculado à linha de pesquisa “Práticas Educativas e Formação de Professores” do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, buscou realizar uma aproximação entre duas esferas do conhecimento: a Literatura Infantil e o Ensino de Ciência. Nossa investigação centra-se em compreender como se dá a aproximação dos elementos das Ciências Naturais pela Literatura Infantil, bem como analisar o uso desse gênero pelos professores dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Para alcançar nossos objetivos, desenvolvemos uma pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa, a fim de interpretar os dados. A coleta de dados da pesquisa foi desenvolvida em duas fases. Na primeira, realizamos a análise documental para seleção e análise dos livros de Literatura Infantil. Para isso, baseamono-nos nos conceitos bakhtinianos: Polissemia, Dialogismo e Gêneros do Discurso e a partir deles, verificamos a forma como os elementos das Ciências Naturais foram empregados nas histórias. This study linked the research line between “Educational Practices and Teachers’ Education” of the Graduation in Education Programs. It attempted to make a connection between two spheres of knowledge: Children’s Literature and the Teaching of Science. Our research focuses on understanding how the approach of the elements from the Natural Sciences through the use of Children’s Literature. Our goal is also to analyze this kind of use by Elementary School teachers in the first school grades. To achieve our goals we have developed a research with a qualitative approach seeking to interpret the data. The data collection of the research was conducted in two phases. At first, we did a document analysis for selection and an analysis of the Children’s Literature books. In order to do this, we used Bakhtin’s concepts: Polysemy, Dialogism and Speech Genres.
